My Babies

I have two sweet puppies. Well, they aren't really puppies, but that's what we (our family) call them. They are full blooded Chihuahua's. Or Chi's. And yes, they are spoiled. But, we wouldn't have them any other way. A true pet owner is one that knows what its like to be greeted by your babies when you come home. The excitement in their wagging tails and the twinkle in their sweet little eyes. I'm talking about the pet owner who knows what it's like to have to share the covers on your bed when its bed time. :) And yes, even the pet owners who have their own little childish way you talk to your babies. And, yes, they DO know what you are saying!! :)

Our babies are Miss Princess Jasmine Marie who is almost 6 years old and her niece, Kee Kee Belle who is 4. They are multi-colored chi's and have absolutely beautiful markings. One of the main reasons why they were chosen for our family.

My babies are spoiled...yes, it was done on purpose. We have a routine when we come home and our babies know this routine very well. When we first enter the house, we are greeted by running of babies towards the door and wagging tails and sometimes even little snorts and grunts, because they are soooo excited to see us. We pick up the oldest one and get kisses and then we say "Let's go to the bed". Now, we don't pick up the youngest one, because this isn't her way. She wants to greet us with us leaning over our waterbed. It is a waterbed that has drawers underneath it, so its pretty high. This is where we get kisses and nuggles (hugs) from them both. Then the oldest one, Jasmine runs to the kitchen and waits by the treat door. Then its time for the treats. By this time, Kee Kee Belle has gotten her favorite toy (her squeak-it) in her mouth waiting for us to go to the treat door too. Then we give them their favorite treat...a chicken jerky and say "Big puppies first, and little puppies second". Yes, even our puppies know the barking order in this house.

Thanks for letting me ramble!!
